Vehicle Finance Hub publishes free, independent guides to vehicle finance in the UK. We explain how agreements work, what they cost and what your rights are, so you can make your own decisions with the facts in front of you.
Who we are
The site is run by people with experience working in the UK automotive finance industry. We started it because the information people find when they search for car finance is often written to sell a deal rather than to explain it.
We’re not a lender or a broker
We don’t lend money, arrange finance or recommend particular lenders, and nobody pays us to feature in our guides. Nothing on this site is financial advice. If we ever add links to finance providers, we’ll say so clearly on the page and explain how we’re paid.
How we write and check our guides
- We use official sources. Facts about rules and rights are checked against sources such as GOV.UK, the Financial Conduct Authority, the Financial Ombudsman Service and MoneyHelper, and we link to them where it helps.
- We show the costs. Worked examples use realistic illustrative figures, calculated precisely and clearly labelled as illustrations, not quotes.
- We don’t promise approval. No lender can promise you’ll be approved, so we never suggest otherwise.
- We date our pages. Each guide shows when it was last checked and updated.
